Resources — Praying For Home in Baltimore, MD
"Real Care Providers Network allows me to combine my profession and my desire to serve others.”

It is an honor and a pleasure to serve as the Chairman of Real Care Providers Network (RCPN). Our mission is to provide housing for homeless families and individuals in the Greater Baltimore City Area and beyond. As the Chairman of RCPN, our organization stands on the principle of “housing first” and believes that “Going home shouldn't be a journey ..... It should be a right! It is my commitment to focus on building partnerships with elected officials, local communities, churches, and to strengthen our relationships with healthcare providers in order to provide the homeless population with stable housing, mental health services, substance abuse services, job readiness program resources, money management training and life skills.

Real Care Providers Network is structured to ensure that we do more than just house homeless people. It's designed to get to the core issues that cause homelessness and allow them to prepare for the future to be productive members of society, gain adequate employment, and prepare them to eventually live on their own.

Since March 16, 2013, when Baltimore City decided to close down the embankment on I-83 where the homeless population were staying; Real Care Providers Network in conjunction with Belvedere Homes has been able to house up to hundreds of homeless men and woman. In addition, we were able to get them (the homeless population) linked to support service programs throughout the community.

We welcome your help and encourage the participation of your community in any or all of these efforts.
Please explore our website to see how you might work with the Real Care Providers Network to help those who have been homeless to get back on their feet and help to stabilize the growing homeless population.

Sincerely,
Christina Flowers
